About Us

We Are the Leading Canadian Company In Greater Vancouver Area

Hi! I’m Jessica and I’ve been in the vinyl world for almost 20 years. It’s safe to say that I have made this my career and every step of the way has taught me so much.

It all began when I decided to take a Graphic Arts program at NAIT in Edmonton in 2001.

After that I got into the work field, starting from logo and sign design, to installing vinyl on signage, to custom pinstriping, to installing commercial wraps and custom colour changes, to retail store displays. I also did some training courses with Madico to do automotive tint and paint protection.

It was 2010 when I stepped over to starting my own contracting business and working for myself. And I have never looked back! I spent a number of years contracting in Edmonton and Vancouver after that, building my reputation in the industry. I took all the training and certifications I could to prove I was reputable and that I took myself and my business seriously.

Most recently I’ve been diving headfirst into the architectural film and wallcoverings market. While architectural film is very niche, it has been very popular overseas in countries like Japan and China and has finally made it into the Canadian cities, including Vancouver. Constructions companies, architects and interior designers are quickly seeing the value and flexibility that these films have to offer

With a pile of certifications under my belt and a passion for precise cuts and attention to fine details, I’d love to come in with my team to help with your renovation and re-imagine your space!

Frequently Asked Questions

Supply and installation are priced on a job-by-job basis. Factors include square footage, detailed cuts required during installation, time, location and access of the project, and which film pattern is chosen.

There is a 3-6 week typical wait for ordering custom film patterns. There are also quick ship film patterns if a film is required sooner than that. Also, if the wall has been freshly painted, a 10-14 day cure time is needed before applying the film. A 50% deposit is required to order film and book install dates. Install dates are typically booked 2-4 weeks after the deposit is paid and a film order has been made..

The film has a pressure-sensitive self-adhesive as opposed to rolling on glue which makes it a permanent application. The pressure-sensitive vinyl can apply to most non-porous surfaces—metal, laminated wood panelling, glass, countertops and front desks, doors, columns etc. The vinyl film can also apply to properly sealed drywall surfaces.

The AF Works precision finishing skills have taken years of practice to deliver a finished product that “wow’s!” our customers every time! Samples of how we finish corners, edges, and double cuts can be shown during a consultation.

Expected Performance Life is 5-12 years for indoor, vertical applications, depending on the brand of film.

The film used is considered a permanent application that is easy to clean, maintain and repair. The custom wrap versatility, easy maintenance, and durability against everyday wear and tear keep your space looking fresh for the long term.
